How to Track Form Submissions in Lead Center
Learn where form submissions appear in Lead Center and how to confirm each lead is captured with the right attribution data.
What This Article Covers
This guide explains how form submissions flow into Lead Center and how to validate that data quality is correct.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Use the right checklist for your form type
- DigitalPilot Form Builder: Submissions appear in Lead Center when the form is submitted. The Capture lead emails into DigitalPilot switch in Settings → Tag options applies only to non–DigitalPilot website forms—you do not need it on for Form Builder leads.
- Other forms on your website: An administrator must enable Capture lead emails into DigitalPilot in Tag options and click Save, and the DigitalPilot tag must load on the page where that form lives.
2. Submit a Test Lead
- Open your live form page.
- Submit a test entry with a business email address.
- Use clear test values so the record is easy to find.
3. Verify in Lead Center
- Go to Lead Center in your workspace.
- Use search and date filters to find your test lead.
- Confirm source/channel fields are present when available.
What to Validate
- Lead email is correct and unique.
- Submission timestamp matches your test window.
- Attribution fields (channel, source, medium, campaign) are populated when expected.
Troubleshooting
- If no lead appears, use this troubleshooting article.
- If attribution is empty, review UTM capture setup.
- If personal emails should be filtered, review domain blocking rules.
