Understanding the Lead Center
Learn how Lead Center works, what the Tag options email switch controls (third-party site forms only), Meta Ads leads, and how to view and filter leads.
What Is the Lead Center?
The Lead Center is where DigitalPilot lists captured leads in one place so you can search, filter by date or channel, and act on them. Leads can come from Meta Ads when you enable lead sync there, and from your own website forms when administrators turn on Capture lead emails into DigitalPilot in Settings → Tag options (the tag must be on those pages). You can also get notifications (e.g. Slack or webhooks) when new leads are captured.
Where to Find the Lead Center
In the left-hand menu of your DigitalPilot dashboard, click Lead Center. The Capture lead emails into DigitalPilot setting controls whether DigitalPilot can detect emails from forms on your site—if you rely on that and it is off, use Edit tag options (under Settings → Tag options) so an administrator can enable it.
Capture emails from your own site forms (Tag options)
Only administrators can change this setting. It does not turn Meta lead sync on or off.
- Go to Settings and open Tag options (or use Edit tag options when linked from the app).
- Find Capture lead emails into DigitalPilot.
- Turn it on if you want DigitalPilot to detect lead emails from forms on pages where your tag runs, and send those emails to Lead Center.
- Click Save.
After saving, qualifying submissions on those forms can appear in Lead Center alongside Meta leads.
Capturing Leads from Facebook (Meta) Ads
Go to Integrations → Meta Ads, connect your ad account, and enable Capture Meta Ads Leads to sync Facebook campaign leads into Lead Center. This is separate from the Tag options email capture switch.
Viewing and Filtering Leads
In Lead Center you’ll see:
- Total Leads — Count of leads in the current view.
- Leads list — Table of leads with details such as email, channel, and date. Use Search to find by email or other fields.
- Date range filter — e.g. Last 7 days, Last 28 days, Custom.
- Channel filter — When available, limit by traffic channel (e.g. organic, paid, direct).
Use Load More if the list is paginated.
Getting Notifications for New Leads
Enable Lead Capture in Slack (Integrations → Slack) or add a webhook with the Lead Capture subscription (Settings → Webhooks) for events when leads hit Lead Center (including, when Tag options capture is on, emails from your own website forms). You can also manage related email preferences under Email Preferences.
