Setup the Meta Ads Integration
Learn how to connect your Meta (Facebook) Ads account to DigitalPilot to sync campaigns and capture leads from your Facebook ad campaigns into the Lead Center.
What the Meta Ads Integration Does
The Meta Ads integration connects your Meta (Facebook) advertising account to your DigitalPilot workspace. Once connected, you can sync campaign data and optionally capture leads from your Meta Ads campaigns—those leads are sent to your DigitalPilot Lead Center so you can manage them in one place with leads from your website.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Go to Meta Ads
- Log in to your DigitalPilot account.
- In the right-hand top menu, go to Integrations.
- Click Meta Ads to open the Meta Ads integration page.
2. Connect Your Meta Ads Account
- Click Connect Meta Ads Account. A new tab will open and take you to Meta (Facebook) to authorize DigitalPilot to access your ad account.
- Log in to Facebook if prompted and approve the requested permissions.
- After you authorize, you'll be redirected back to DigitalPilot. A modal will open automatically: Select Facebook Ad Account.
3. Select an Ad Account
In the modal, you'll see a list of Facebook ad accounts you have access to. You can use the search box to find an account by name or ID. Click the ad account you want to connect to this DigitalPilot workspace. DigitalPilot will save your selection and confirm that the Meta Ads account is connected.
4. (Optional) Enable Lead Capture
After your Meta Ads account is connected, a Lead Capture section appears on the Meta Ads page. Turn on Capture Meta Ads Leads to automatically send leads from your Meta Ads campaigns (e.g. Facebook Lead Ads) into your DigitalPilot Lead Center. You can turn this on or off at any time.
Reconnecting or Changing Your Ad Account
To reconnect (e.g. after revoking access or changing Facebook permissions) or switch to a different ad account, click Reconnect Meta Ads Account on the Meta Ads integration page. You'll go through the same authorization flow and then choose an ad account again in the modal.
If You Don't See Your Ad Accounts
Make sure you're logged into Facebook with an account that has access to the ad accounts you want to use. If no ad accounts appear in the list, check that your Facebook account has the right permissions and that the ad accounts exist in Meta Business Manager or Ads Manager.
