About The Home Office Chess Club AGM

1. The Home Office Chess Club is open to anyone to works in the Home Office or has done in the past. 2. We were founded in 1984 and currently have about 20 members ranging in strength from novice to FIDE Master. 3. With effect from September 2006, we run two teams in the Civil Service League (CSL divisions 1 and 3) and two teams in the London Commercial League (LCL divisions 1 and 2). 4. Our venue is the Home Office, 2 Marsham Street, London SW1. 5. Our club night is Thursday. We aim to provide a varied programme of events including blitz chess, a club championship, and chess teaching. 6. Our Constitution is here. 7. Our AGM is held in April or May each year and is followed by an All-Play-All Blitz Tournament. 8. The club committee members are as follows.
