Setting Audience Targeting for Your Campaigns
This article explains how to set up audience targeting in DigitalPilot by selecting a country, uploading your target accounts, and adjusting audience expansion settings.
Step-by-Step: Set Audience Targeting
Before you begin, make sure you’ve already created a campaign.
1. Access Targeting Settings
- Go to the Advertise section in the main menu.
- Locate your campaign and click on the three dots (⋯) next to it.
- Select Targeting from the dropdown menu.
2. Choose Your Targeting Options
- Select Country: Choose the country where you want your ads to appear.
- Select Target Accounts List: Select the list of companies you want to target.
3. Audience Expansion Option
- If you’ve uploaded more than 100 target accounts, you’ll be able to choose whether to enable audience expansion. This option allows DigitalPilot to show your ads to similar companies that match your target account profile.
- If you have fewer than 100 target accounts, audience expansion will be automatically enabled to ensure your campaign reaches enough people.
Audience expansion helps increase your visibility while staying aligned with your ideal customer profile.
4. Save and Continue
Click Save and next to move on to the next step: uploading your banner creatives.
Tips and Best Practices
- Use a well-defined list of accounts to ensure your ads reach the most relevant businesses.
- Monitor performance and adjust audience settings in future campaigns if needed.
