This article outlines the recommended banner sizes and file requirements for your ad creatives in DigitalPilot, helping you ensure optimal campaign performance.
Recommended Banner Sizes
For the best visibility and reach across different websites and devices, we recommend uploading banners in as many of the following formats as possible:
- 250 x 250 – Square
- 200 x 200 – Small square
- 468 x 60 – Banner
- 336 x 280 – Large rectangle
- 120 x 600 – Skyscraper
- 160 x 600 – Wide skyscraper
- 970 x 90 – Large leaderboard
- 300 x 250 – Inline rectangle
- 300 x 600 – Half-Page ad
- 728 x 90 – Leaderboard
File Format and Size Requirements
Make sure your banner files meet the following technical requirements:
- Accepted file types: JPG, PNG, or GIF
- Maximum file size: 2MB per banner
- GIFs must be under 2MB and optimized for fast loading.
Tips and Best Practices
- Include a clear call to action (CTA) in your design (e.g., “Learn More” or “Download Now”).
- Test multiple versions of the same banner in different sizes to see what performs best.
- Ensure readability at small sizes — avoid tiny text or cluttered designs.
