Contacts for Attio
Find people at a company in Attio, unlock an email, and save the person. Verify an email from a person record or a workflow, and optionally store whether it is valid.
Overview
Contacts for Attio brings DigitalPilot into Attio. From a company record, find people at that company, unlock an email, and save the person to Attio. From a person record, or from a workflow, verify an email address and optionally store whether it is valid.
Searching does not use credits. Revealing an email uses 1 credit, or 2 for a decision maker. An email that is already unlocked is free. Verifying an email uses 1 credit.
How it works
- Open a company and choose Find contacts. Search by the company domain, and narrow results by seniority, department, or decision maker.
- Reveal an email when you want it. Confirm the credit cost, then add the person to Attio, linked to that company.
- Open a person and choose Verify email. DigitalPilot checks the format, typos, disposable domains, and mail server, then verifies the mailbox. The dialog shows the result.
- If an email status attribute is set, the person is updated: a checkbox is checked when the email is valid, and a text, select, or status attribute is set to Valid or Invalid.
- In a workflow, add the Verify email step. Map an email address, then follow the Valid or Invalid branch. You can also choose a person and an attribute so the step saves the result.
Configuration
- Install the app and connect a DigitalPilot account. Attio stores the connection and saves the DigitalPilot workspace ID. Disconnecting the app revokes that connection.
- Allow the app to read companies and people, and to create and update people.
- To save verification results from a person record, open the app settings and set Email status attribute to the API slug of a People attribute.
- Checkbox: checked when the email is valid, unchecked when it is not.
- Text, select, or status: set to Valid or Invalid. A select or status attribute needs those options.
- A workflow step can choose the person and attribute itself. Leave both empty to only return the Valid or Invalid branch.
